Barack Obama at Wesleyan 2008
Your rating: None Average: 5 (1 vote)

When Barack Obama substituted for Senator Edward Kennedy at the Wesleyan graduation ceremony in May 2008, he was still running for President of the United States. Just over five months later, Obama won the election and became the first black president-elect. Even though this speech talks more of United States and its ideals and evolution, it is an inspiring speech for anyone who values some of the globally acceptable ideals that US stands for, such as liberty and democracy.
